About Courtney L. Branch:

Courtney L. Branch is an Emmy-nominated producer, development executive, and industry strategist with more than a decade of experience helping filmmakers and creative teams develop, position, and elevate their projects.

Her career spans television, film, festivals, and industry programs, with producing credits across major networks and studios including CBS, Fox, MGM, BET, Lifetime, and The CW. She began her career through a prestigious fellowship with CBS This Morning before relocating to Los Angeles, where she worked as a producer on Dr. Phil at Paramount Studios.

In 2018, Courtney co-founded the Micheaux Film Festival and served as Head of Programming for seven years, helping transform the organization into one of the country's leading multicultural film festivals. Throughout her tenure, she reviewed thousands of projects, championed emerging talent, and helped filmmakers navigate the path from idea to audience. Her work has been recognized by Forbes, Deadline, Black Enterprise, and The Hollywood Reporter.

Today, Courtney operates as the Industry Programs Executive at the Latino Film Institute, where she oversees a slate of more than 20 projects annually through fellowships, mentorship initiatives, and industry development programs. She is also Head of Programming for Black Women in Entertainment and has built a reputation for connecting creatives with the tools, strategy, and industry insight needed to advance their work and careers.

A 2024 Warner Bros. Discovery Unlock Unscripted Access Fellow and Black Enterprise 40 Under 40 honoree, Courtney brings a unique combination of creative development expertise, production experience, festival insight, and market strategy to every project she advises.
